Clementine
was born in Derbyshire and gained her degree in
Fine Art Photography from Nottingham Trent
University in 2005. She moved to North Yorkshire in
2001 as there were family connections and is now
based in Malton.
She has widely exhibited her work in galleries throughout the UK and has had her images published in several national newspapers including The Times and The Guardian.
Clementines first shoot was at renowned racehorse trainer Mick Easterby's stables in Sheriff Hutton, York in 2004. She has subsequently gone on to further commisions for owners, trainers and other members within the racing industry.
Clementines main interest lies with horseracing photography, which she has expanded into a hand-finished card business using her portfolio of images, supplying many top independent retailers and galleries across the UK. She also exhibits at many country shows and trade fairs throughout the year. (For details of these please see Events page)
Clementine has always been in awe of how the photograph captures a single, fleeting moment in time forever, and she considers photography to be just as much an art form as drawing and painting. She creates her images with an artistic perspective, allowing her to produce her work on canvas, acrylic or limited edition mounted prints too.
